OutGear GridTrak Vehicle Tracking System

OutGear GridTrak Vehicle Tracking System is the state of the art vehicle location and tracking equipment available. High signal integrity allows monitoring of movement and location to within 2 meters.

The base monitoring unit is able to monitor vehicles within an urban area up to five miles, in rural areas up to twenty miles. By interfacing the base Monitoring unit (BMU) into other BMUs or the SmartTac Tactical System, triangulation provides a more accurate location (to within 1 meter) and also provides extended range to include the total ranges of the combined units. Boosted signal receivers can be added, increasing the range but reducing the accuracy of the location.

An optional external map unit can be plugged into the parallel access interface to provide details map information for the surrounding area, since the BMU only calculates position of target vehicles and not the geographic details for their location. The BMU may also be interfaced with the OutGear HDU Mapping Display for map information and display ability.

OutGear GridTrak Systems - available components
Base Monitoring Unit	2500¥	The base monitoring unit is the vital component in tracking accessible vehicles. The unit consists of a four inch diagonal viewscreen and numeric keypad, which is used to enter vehicle frequencies and identification data. The BMU has a parallel access port which allows integration into tactical networks or computer systems for data analysis and storage. Parallel access information may also be fed through rigger interfaces and autopilot control systems for navigation processing. Optimum range for the BMU is five miles urban and twenty miles rural with 2 meter location accuracy. Additional BMUs may add their range to create a dynamic sweep area by linking within a communications network.
Remote Signal Generator	175¥	Signal generators are used to emit the signal that the BMUs read. Each generator may be configured with a specific unit ID, allowing tracking of multiple targets by BMUs and BMU equipped systems. The signal emited is a tight band encrypted signal which helps prevent jamming and unauthorized signal access. The unit is roughly the size of a cigarette pack and may be temporarily attached with adhesives or permenantly attached with the provided mounting bracket.
Parallel Access Interface	350¥	Networking of the BMU is obtained through the parallel access interface. This device allows connetion into the most common rigger/tactical interfaces. A port for external storage, external map units, and secondary displays is included in the PAI unit.

Enhanced Monitoring Unit	4500¥	The enhanced monitoring unit allows tracking and decryption of identification signals as well as provides signal integrity tracking to allow for indentifying hacked or spoofed identification signals.
KickShot ID Transponder	500¥	KickShot ID transponders may be fired with standard firearms and are available in most calibers. The round is a viscous gel that attaches to its target and protects the enclosed transponder. This allows for covert attachment of the transponder for surveillance and law enforcement purposes. Range for the KickShot IDTs is half of the standard signal generator, at 3 miles for urban and 11 miles for rural areas.
IDSecure Frequency Filter	1000¥/Level	As a solution to hacked and unwanted frequencies, IDSecure was designed to block any unwanted frequencies, incoming or outgoing. Up to level three jamming available.
HomeSpot Target Designator	1500¥	HomeSpot allows rigged systems and designated target weapon systems to home in on GridTrak identified signals.
